"A large part of who we are today is because of what we have learned from the past." Part of that past is F. Spaulding Dunbar, naval architect. He worked and lived on the site where Pease Boatworks & Marine Railway is situated in Chatham, MA and his work will be on view at Seamen's Church Institute through December 2016, and is otherwise in the Hart Collection at MIT.

Almost all of the materials at Newport Nautical Timbers are cut live edge and stacked sequentially for drying. They utilize their expanded sawmill to achieve wide slab lumber that would otherwise not be available. NNT was designed to supply wooden boat builders with materials of the highest quality while maintaining maximum widths. This also allows them to provide the most exquisite furniture grade materials available. Visit with their team in person at the show!
